About Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia

Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia is a multi-use stadium in Como, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football matches as the home ground of Como 1907. The stadium holds 7,798 people. The stadium was completed in 1927 and was built on the orders of Benito Mussolini. It is named after the Italian rower and war hero Giuseppe Sinigaglia, a native of Como. In 2004, British rock band Deep Purple played a concert there. Como 1907 achieved promotion to Serie A in May 2024; however, it is unclear whether they will stage their home matches at Stadio Sinigaglia during the 2024/25 season. The stadium does not currently meet the minimum capacity requirements set out by the league and therefore urgent work is required over the summer to upgrade the stadium.
